The TV2 Temperature Data Logger can be set with specific “safe” threshold points for temperature and humidity conditions. When conditions fall outside these boundaries, an audio/email/text and optional phone dialer alerts staff members. The TV2 Temperature Data Logger logs and charts all data, and stores it in non-volatile memory – up to 80,000 points (or 2.5 years of data if data is being logged once every 10 minutes)! What’s more, the data is encrypted to meet 21 CFR 11 compliance protocols. Data can be viewed on a PC  once plugged into the LAN.  All data can be viewed and printed as a chart or exported to Excel.

The TV2 monitor has an internal rechargable 72-hour lithium backup battery.  It enters battery mode if a power failure occurs, which causes the display to ‘sleep’ but all data logging activity continues to occur for at least seventy-two hours, depending on the settings. In the event that power is not restored before the battery is depleted, the stored data will still be retained although the unit will no longer collect new data. Once power is restored, the display wakes up, the battery begins to be recharged, and normal operations continue.
