The TV2 refrigerator alarm is a highly engineered and precise environmental monitoring system. The TV2 fridge alarm works with any refrigerator whether storing vaccines, medicines, or industrial supplies. In addition to sounding the alarm if the temperature becomes unsafe it also automatically logs all temperatures. It sends email or text alerts or makes phone calls anytime the temperature becomes unsafe or the power fails. All logged data is stored in non-volatile ram, which can be downloaded to a PC with the 2di secure software.
While packed with technology and features, even novice users will find the menu system and options intuitive and natural. The large EasyTouch© Touchscreen not only allows for user input and visual interaction, it displays current and historical data logger temperature information with just a few touches. The touchscreen can also be password protected.
The TV2 refrigerator alarm can be set with specific “safe” threshold points for each temperature sensor. Any time the temperature moves outside these boundaries, an audio/email/text and optional phone dialer alerts management staff. The TV2 Fridge alarm stores more than o 80,000 data points (or 1.5 years of data @ a rate of once per 10 minutes)! What’s more, the data is encrypted to meet 21 CFR 11 compliance protocols. Data can be viewed on a PC via included USB cable or exported to a standard Excel file.
The TV2 Fridge alarm has an internal 72-hour lithium battery backup. Any time the power fails the fridge alarm enters battery mode during which the display ‘sleeps’ but the sensors continue to collect temperatures for over seventy-two hours. In the event that power is not restored before the battery is depleted, the stored data will still be retained although the unit will not collect new data. Once power is restored, the display wakes up, the battery begins to charge, and normal operations continue.The TV2 Fridge alarm was designed for commercial, medical and industrial applications where failure is not an option.
