The TV2 freezer alarm is a highly engineered and precise environmental monitoring system. TV2 wireless sensors have a range of ~75 feet clear line-of-sight. They are powered by a 9vdc battery which has a life of ~ 1 year depending on how often you log data. The TV2 freezer alarm sends email/text/phone alerts in addition to sounding and displaying a local alarm when the wireless sensor sensors a temperature outside your safe range. In addition to alarming your freezer the TV2 freezer alarm also automatically logs all temperature data storing it in non-volatile ram, which can be downloaded to a computer with the 2di secure software.
While packed with technology and features, even novice users will find the menu system and options intuitive and natural. The large EasyTouch© Touchscreen display not only allows for user input and visual interaction, it displays current and historical data logger temperature information with just a few touches. The touchscreen can also be password protected.
The TV2 freezer alarm sensor can be set with specific high and low “safe” threshold points. When levels fall outside these boundaries, an audio/email/text and optional phone dialer alerts management staff. The TV2 freezer alarm logs and charts all data storing up to 80,000 points (or 1.5 years of data @ a rate of once per 10 minutes)! What’s more, the data is encrypted to meet 21 CFR 11 compliance protocols. Data can be viewed on a PC via included USB cable or exported to a standard Excel file.
The TV2 freezer alarm QuickCheck monitor is equipped with a 72-hour lithium battery backup. If a power failure occurs the monitor enters battery mode and the display ‘sleeps’ to maximize battery life. However, even if the display sleeps the sensors continue to collect temperatures, sense alarm conditions and trigger alerts. In the event that power is not restored before the battery is depleted, the stored data will still be retained although the unit will not collect new data. Once power is restored, the display wakes up, the battery begins to recharge, and normal operations continue.
