Temperature/humidity sensor

The temperature/humidity sensor for the TV2 Cleanroom monitor. Used for monitoring and logging temperature and relative humidity. It plugs directly into the TV2 monitor with a four conductor wire (twenty-five-foot) with two male ends. The sensor contains a thermistor (±0.3°C) and a relative humidity sensor (±3.0%) mounted on a PCB inside a plastic box (2″x 2″x 1″).  The sensors is meant to be mounted on the ceiling of the clean room where it can sense the temperature and humidity.  It comes with a small Velcro patch which can be used to mount it above the clean room near the FFE.  If it is positioned inside the clean room itself the Velcro patch should not be used.

This sensor is also available without the plastic enclosure so that it can be positioned inside the cleanroom itself.  It can be provided as a small shrink wrapped board (1.5″ x 1/4″ x 1/2″).  A small (twenty-foot) wire is connected to one end of a shrink-wrapped board.  It is completely enclosed by the shrink-wrap except for a small opening where the RH sensors is located. This configuration is useful for very clean rooms where ISO 1-6 are desired.

The Temperature/humidity-sensor is factory calibrated and it should be re-calibrated on a regular basis to insure the accuracy of the measurements. This can be done in place by comparing the temperature and humidity readings to a calibration instrument and entering any adjustments into the calibration menu for the sensor, that can be accessed under the sensor setup menu on the TV2 monitor.
