The TV2 monitor for wired sensors has four ports into which you can plug any 2di sensors to alarm, log, chart and monitor. Sensors can be temperature only, temperature/humidity, differential pressure or extreme temperature.  You can also use the TV2 monitor as a base station for 4-20mA sensors.  The Tv2 monitor for wireless sensors also has four ports for linking 2di wireless sensors.

The Tv2 monitor has either a wired Ethernet or optional WiFi socket so that the TV2 can be added to a users local area network.  This enables any PC monitor to communicate with the TV2 monitor to view real-time data, download logged data, automatically backup all logged data, setup SMS or Email alerts.

All TV2 monitors automatically log all data being sampled.  Each variable has high and low alarm setpoints and can be displayed as a chart on the monitor itself.  Any time any variable moves outside the set points for that variable it turns red on the display, indicating that an unsafe condition has occurred.  If the condition remains unsafe for longer than the delay time an alert occurs which triggers an SMS, Email or Phone call alert.  That alert is also logged with the data and can be seen on the chart shown on the monitor and also in the alarm log viewed on the PC.

Each TV2 monitor has an on-board menu to set the options, such as how often to log values, the alarm setting or enter calibration for each sensor.

The TV2 monitor has an internal 72-hour lithium battery backup so it continues to operate during power failures. In the event that power is not restored before the battery is depleted, the stored data will still be retained although the unit will not collect new data. Once power is restored, the display wakes up, the battery begins to charge, and normal operations continue.
